HISTORY The home was built for George and Marie Tourney. Mr. Tourney was the president of San Francisco Bank and a regent of the University of California. Stanford University zoology professor, Harold Heath, followed, and later, Effie York, MD who was the patron of the Filipino Association of Palo Alto.
